For Existing Subscribers

If you currently have an active subscription:

  • Your plan will be automatically upgraded to the free Plus Plan
  • Your subscription will be canceled automatically
  • Any unused time will be refunded proportionally (pro-rated)

Refunds will be processed after the update goes live and may take several days depending on your payment provider.

Is GardePro Link 1.0 now free?

Yes. All users are now upgraded to the Plus Plan at no cost.

When will this update take effect?

The update is expected to roll out in mid-May 2026. The exact timing will depend on the final release schedule.

Do I need to take any action?

No. The upgrade will happen automatically - no action is required on your part.

What happens to my subscription? Will I get a refund? (For existing subscribers only)

If you have an active subscription, it has been automatically canceled, and you have been upgraded to the free Plus Plan.

Any unused portion of your subscription will be refunded proportionally (pro-rated).

How long does the refund take? (For existing subscribers only)

Refunds will be processed after the feature goes live.
Depending on payment provider (Stripe) and your bank, it may take a few days up to one week to appear.

What cloud services are included in the Plus Plan?

The Plus Plan includes a full set of cloud features designed for convenience and efficiency, including Live View, photo and video uploads (540P), HD photo and HD video requests, video preview uploads, 60-day cloud storage, on-demand capture, app push notifications, optional email alerts, camera sharing, and map tagging—all available at no extra cost.

Which models support the free Plus Plan?

The Plus Plan is included at no extra cost with select models (such as R3 Pro and T6LRW).
Availability and features may vary by product. GardePro may update plan details for future models.

Are HD photos and videos uploaded automatically?

No. By default, the camera uploads standard-resolution photos and video previews (540P) to ensure faster transmission and lower power consumption.

HD photos and HD videos must be requested manually in the app.

Are there limits for HD video requests?

Yes.

Each HD video request is limited to 10 seconds
Each video supports up to 30 requests

This helps ensure faster uploads and better battery efficiency, as large video files consume more time and power.

Are there any recommendations for using Live View?

Yes. To preserve battery life, we recommend:

Avoid frequent usage
Limit each session to within 1 minute

Extended use may significantly increase power consumption.
