AI Species Recognition is the intelligent engine of the X66 Pro Max. It uses on-device AI models to automatically identify animals in photos and videos and apply species tags.The recognition is processed locally on the camera, not in the cloud, ensuring fast response, data efficiency, and user privacy.The system works with both daytime color images and infrared night images, and it powers advanced features such as AI Tags and Smart Capture.

What are AI Tags?

AI Tags automatically label each image or video with the detected species. These tags help users quickly organize, search, and filter their gallery by animals such as deer, bears, or wild boars.

What is Smart Capture?

Smart Capture allows users to choose which animals the camera should upload. The camera only transmits selected species, helping reduce cellular data usage and ensuring users only receive the captures that matter.

Is AI recognition 100% Accurate?

No. AI Species Recognition is currently a Beta feature.While it performs well in most situations, accuracy may vary depending on lighting conditions, shooting angle, distance, infrared night images, background complexity, or partial visibility of animals.We are continuously improving the AI models through updates to increase recognition accuracy over time.

What if the camera Identifies the Wrong Animal?

All AI tags can be manually changed or removed in the app or web gallery.If the recognition result is incorrect, simply tap the tag and select the correct species.These user corrections are recorded as feedback and help us further optimize AI performance in future updates.

Which animals are supported for AI Recognition and Smart Capture?

Currently supported species include:Buck, Doe, Bear, Turkey, Coyote, Wild Boar, Human, VehicleMore species may be added in future AI updates.

Does Smart Capture Help Save Cellular Data?

Currently, AI Species Recognition is exclusively available on the X66 Pro Max.Other GardePro cameras that do not include AI hardware can still manually add tags to photos and videos in the app or web gallery. These manual tags can also be used for filtering and organizing content, making it easy to manage and find specific captures.More AI-enabled models may be added in future product generations.

Does AI Species Recognition require an extra subscription or payment?

No. AI Species Recognition, AI Tags, and Smart Capture do not require any additional AI subscription fees.As long as your camera has an active cellular data plan, you can use all AI features without extra cost.
