Troubleshooting Temperature Display Issues
Understanding the Temperature Display:
When using your GardePro camera, you may notice that the temperature displayed is slightly higher than the actual ambient temperature. This is a normal occurrence due to the camera’s internal components generating heat during operation. The camera’s design, which includes a sealed structure to protect sensitive components, can cause heat to accumulate and affect the temperature sensor’s readings. However, this temperature difference is within an acceptable range and does not impact the camera’s performance or durability.
Resolving Abnormal Temperature Readings:
If the temperature displayed on your camera is abnormally high or low and falls outside the expected range, please follow these steps:
- Reposition Your Camera: Avoid placing your camera in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as these can lead to inaccurate temperature readings.
- Acclimate Your Camera: If the camera has been exposed to extreme temperatures, move it to a location with a more moderate climate and allow it to adjust before resuming use.
- Reset and Update: Persistent abnormal temperature readings may require a reset of the camera settings. Additionally, ensure your camera’s firmware is up-to-date to benefit from the latest temperature calibration improvements.
