The following instructions apply to the GardePro Baby Monitor B3.
Q1: How to operate in the menu?
Press M to enter the Menu. Then press Up / Down to shift among the Tier 1 menu items.
Press Right or OK to enter the Tier 2 menus. Then press OK or Right to enter the Tier 3 menus.
Press Left to return to the upper-level menu.
Press M to quit the menu and return to the live stream desktop.
Q2: How to update the baby monitor?

Q3: How to play and stop lullabies?
- Press Fn, then press UP to enter the Lullabies interface.
- Loop ALL: Press OK on the "ALL" icon to loop all music sequentially.
- Single Loop: Shift to any song using the directional buttons. When the circle outside the song turns green, press OK to loop that specific song.
- Stop: While playing, press Down twice to reach the STOP icon and press OK.
- Timer: Press Down to shift to the stop icon, then press Left to reach the Timer icon. Press OK, select the desired time using Right, and press OK to start. The lullabies will stop when the timer ends.
- Volume: In the lullabies interface, press "+" or "-" to adjust the volume.
Q4: How to adjust the talk volume of a camera?
For Monitor: Press "+" or "-" to adjust volume.
For Camera: Press M > Right (Tier 2 menu) > Down to "Talk volume" > Right. Then press "+" or "-" to adjust.
Q5: How to adjust the alarm volume of the monitor?
Press M > Down to "Alarm" > Right > Down to "Alarm volume" > Right. Then press "+" or "-" to adjust.
Q6: How to adjust the lullaby volume of the camera?
- Select your camera: Press Fn + Down to enter "Camera Switch", shift to the desired camera, and press OK. (If in "Patrol" mode, wait until it switches to the desired camera).
- Press Fn, then UP to enter the Lullabies interface.
- Press "+" or "-" to adjust the volume.
Q7: How to adjust the screen’s brightness?
Press Fn, then press Left to enter the "Brightness" interface. Use Left or Right to adjust.
Q8: How can I add a new camera to the network?
On the Monitor: Press M > Camera Management > Select "+" > OK.
On the Camera: Press the "PAIR" button (located under the camera) within 30 seconds.
Q9: Is this monitor 720p or 1080p?
The system supports both. The camera features 1080P resolution for high-quality images and local storage. The monitor screen is 720P (optimized for its 5-inch size). Live streaming is transferred at 720P to ensure smoothness.
Q10: Where to buy an additional camera?
You can purchase one on Amazon.com or via the link found in Menu > Help.
Q11: Will this work on 5G or Wi-Fi networks?
No. The baby monitor works independently and requires neither Wi-Fi nor 5G networks.
Q12: Can it connect to my phone?
No, the baby monitor system works independently and cannot connect to smartphones.
Q13: Does the camera need to be plugged in?
Yes, the camera unit must be plugged into an electrical outlet.
Q14: Will it block out the white noise machine?
No, it does not block out white noise. We recommend placing the white noise machine further away from the camera than the baby to help reduce interference.
Q15: Will this camera notify me when there is motion?
Yes, provided you have activated "Motion Detection" in MENU > Camera Settings. You will be notified if motion exceeds the chosen sensitivity level.
Q16: What does the blinking green light on the camera mean?
A blinking green light indicates the camera is either updating or experiencing a connection issue.
Q17: What is the resolution of the camera and monitor?
Monitor: 1280 x 720P
Camera: 1920 x 1080P
Q18: How will alarm/alert detection affect the system?
There are three sensor alarms: Sound Detection, Motion Detection, and Temperature Detection (found in Camera Settings). Additionally, there are Disconnection and Timer alarms. All five will wake the monitor screen from sleep.
Scenarios:
- If the screen is ON: Video and Audio remain active regardless of settings.
- If the screen is OFF and VOX (Sound Detection) is Disabled: Video is off, Audio remains active.
- If the screen is OFF and VOX is Enabled: Both Video and Audio are off. They only activate if noise exceeds the threshold.
- If Motion or Temperature detection is enabled: Any activation will wake the screen and restore Video/Audio.

Q19: How can I set Sound Detection?
Press M > Right (Camera Settings) > Select Camera (if multiple) > Down to "Sound Detection" > Press OK to turn ON/OFF.
Q20: Why is the night vision screen unclear?
The optimal range for night vision is 5 to 12 feet. Ensure the camera is not too close (exposure issues) or too far from the baby.
Q21: How to stop whistling/howling noise?
- Move the monitor at least 3 feet away from the camera.
- Lower the volume on the monitor using the "-" button.
- Lower the camera's speaker volume via Menu > Camera Settings > Speaker Volume.
Q22: Why is the screen black and white?
Night vision is set to "Auto" by default. It switches to black and white in low light. To change this:
Press M > Camera Settings > Down to "Night Vision" > Adjust to Off/On/Auto > Press OK.
Q23: How to turn on Patrol/Scan mode?
With 2+ cameras connected: Press Fn > Down (Camera Switch) > Right to "Patrol" > OK.
The monitor will loop through cameras every 5-60 seconds. To adjust the interval, go to Menu > General Settings > Patrol Interval.
Q24: How to mount the camera on the wall?

Steps:
- Test the camera position (>3ft from crib) before drilling.
- Mark 3 holes using the bracket.
- Drill holes (1/5 inch / 6mm bit) and insert anchors.
- Screw the bracket into the wall.
- Attach the camera to the bracket and secure the head bolt.
- Connect the power adapter.
Tip: Use wall clips to secure cords away from the baby's reach.
Q25: What is the longest connection distance?
Up to 1500ft in an open area. Actual range depends on walls and obstacles.
Q26: What to do if the monitor won't turn on?
Charge the monitor via USB. If the battery was critically low (<1%), wait until it charges above 1% before pressing and holding the Power button.
Q27: What does "Screen Sleep" mean?
It sets the time after which the screen turns off to save battery.

- Remove the Micro-SD card from the camera.
- Insert it into a USB card reader.
- Connect the reader to your Phone (if supported) or PC to copy files.
Q31: How to estimate wireless range?
Maximum Open Range: 3000ft.
Formula: Actual Distance = 3000 / (Obstacle Factor 1 × Obstacle Factor 2...)
