What Should I Do When the SD Card Is Full?

You can choose one of the following options:

Option 1 – Back Up Files and Format the SD Card

  • Download your photos and videos to your computer or phone.
  • Insert the SD card back into the camera.
  • Format the SD card from the camera menu:

Menu → Format SD Card

Formatting will delete all files and free up storage space.

Option 2 – Enable Loop Recording

Enable Loop Recording from the camera menu:

Menu → Loop Recording

When the SD card becomes full, the camera will automatically overwrite the oldest files and continue saving new photos and videos.

Important Note

Loop Recording will overwrite older files permanently.

If you want to keep all your photos and videos, make sure to back up your files regularly before the SD card becomes full.
