Why Can’t I Connect to My WiFi Trail Camera on iOS 26?

Issue Description

After updating your iPhone to iOS 26, you may experience issues connecting to your GardePro WiFi trail camera through the GardePro Mobile app.

This is caused by updated iOS privacy settings. The app requires Precise Location permission to properly connect to the WiFi camera.

Please follow the steps below to update your settings.

Solution: Enable Precise Location Permission for GardePro Mobile

Step 1: Open GardePro Mobile App Settings

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap Apps.
  3. Find and select GardePro Mobile.

Step 2: Enable Location Permission

  1. In the GardePro Mobile settings page, tap Location.
  2. Set Allow Location Access to Always.
  3. Turn on Precise Location.

After completing these settings, reopen the GardePro Mobile app and try connecting to your WiFi trail camera again.

The connection issue should now be resolved.
