Causes and Solutions for False Triggers

Cause Explanation: 

A “false trigger” occurs when the PIR sensor detects movement and heat changes in front of the camera lens, but no subject is captured in the image. 

Common causes of false triggers include:

• Movement in front of the camera caused by branches or other objects swaying in the wind.
• The camera is placed in an area with a high foreground temperature, such as under direct sunlight.
• The camera is installed near water surfaces, where reflected light and ripples may trigger the sensor.

Solutions:

1. Adjust Location: Move the camera to a location without the aforementioned interference factors.
2. Adjust Settings: Try changing the sensor sensitivity level in the menu settings.Extend the Detection Delay time.
3. Indoor Testing: If the camera continues to take pictures without a subject, place it indoors, aiming at a motionless area for testing.
