How Can I Identify Which Version of My Cellular Camera I Have?

GardePro 4G cellular cameras are available in different versions for different markets, including Europe/Australia, North America, and South America. They also come in SIM-Locked and SIM-Free versions.

The easiest way to identify your camera's version is to check the model suffix at the end of the model number.

Identify Your Camera Version

Model Suffix Version
UXE Europe/Australia SIM-Free version
DXE / DEU Europe/Australia SIM-Locked version
DXA / DUS USA/Canada SIM-Locked version
UXA SIM-Locked version for North American or South American markets

Examples:

  • X66 3.0 Ultra (X66V3GPLUA-DXA): DXA indicates the USA/Canada SIM-Locked version.
  • X70 Pro (X70GPL-DXE): DXE indicates the Europe/Australia SIM-Locked version.
  • X50 (X50-UXE): UXE indicates the Europe/Australia SIM-Free version.

What Is the Difference Between SIM-Locked and SIM-Free Versions?

SIM-Locked Version

  • Works only with the GardePro-provided SIM card included with the camera.
  • Does not support third-party SIM cards.
  • If the original SIM card is lost or damaged, please contact the GardePro Support Team to purchase a replacement.

SIM-Free Version

  • Supports compatible third-party SIM cards.
  • Allows you to replace the SIM card with another compatible SIM card when needed.
  • Is generally available for purchase through the official GardePro website or through a GardePro business account manager.
