Why doesn’t the camera display the charging or plug icon after the solar panel is connected?

Please follow these steps:

Check the connection

  • Make sure the solar panel cable is securely connected.
  • Check that the connector is not loose or damaged.

Check the solar panel switch

  • Make sure the solar panel switch is set to 12V.

Reconnect the solar panel

  • Disconnect the solar panel from the camera.
  • Turn off the camera.
  • Reconnect the solar panel securely.
  • Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  • Turn the camera back on.

Check the camera screen

  • Check whether the charging or plug icon appears.

If the icon still does not appear, the solar panel may not be providing sufficient voltage, or there may be an issue with the solar panel, cable, or camera port. Please contact our After-Sales Service team for further assistance.
