Why Does the First Frame of a Video Look Purple Before Returning to Normal?

This is a normal phenomenon caused by the camera’s IR Cut Filter (ICR) automatically switching between day and night modes during dusk or dawn.

If video recording starts while the filter is switching, the first frame may briefly appear purple before the filter finishes adjusting and the image returns to normal.

Note: This is a normal optical switching behavior and does not affect the camera’s regular operation or overall recording quality.
