How to Fix Photo Upload Issues or a Software Version Error on Your GardePro X60PMB Trail Camera

X60PMB-DXA cellular trail cameras may experience issues uploading photos to the GardePro app.

If your camera is no longer sending photos, or displays the following message when powered on:

“The software version is not suitable, please upgrade the software of v6.”

A manual firmware update using an SD card is required to restore normal operation.

We’ve prepared firmware packages and step-by-step instructions for X60PMB-DXA.

Important: This firmware update applies only to V6 versions of the models listed above. If your camera does not display the message “The software version is not suitable, please upgrade the software of v6.” when powered on, no firmware update is needed.

Please follow the instructions below and use only the firmware package confirmed for your exact camera model. If you’re unsure which package to use, contact our support team at support@gardepro.com before updating.

What You Will Need

  • A Windows computer (not compatible with macOS)
  • Batteries with sufficient power or a stable external power source
  • A USB cable (included in the package)
  • The correct firmware file (.img) for your camera model

  4. Release the MENU button.

Step 5 — Copy the Firmware File

  1. On your computer, open the camera’s built-in SD card storage.
  2. Copy the downloaded xxxx.img file directly to the root directory.

Notes:

  • Do not rename the file.
